UberEats Officially Launched in Nairobi

Uber Eats, the food delivery business of ride-hailing giant Uber, has finally launched in Nairobi -Kenya, after it’s final tests, have gone through successful. Nairobi is now the 4th city in Africa where Uber Eats is operating from and the only one outside of South Africa. The other cities include Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.

Uber Eats will be available in several neighborhoods in Nairobi which includes Lavington, Muthangari, Kilimani, Kileleshwa, and Westlands as per the FAQs. It will be available from 10 AM to 10 AM 7 days a week and the delivery fee will be a flat KES 150.

For the Restaurants that need to partner with UberEats, are required to fill a form that will be evaluated and the later may be the deal might come through, in the meantime let us wait and see how the company will fair in Nairobi.
