Startup Reactor is a 6-month program aimed at supporting and accelerating startups in Egypt with high growth potential. 30 startups will qualify for the 1-month Ignition stage and will receive mentorship and training. The top 3 startups will receive 10,000 Euros worth of cash prizes and investment opportunities from Innoventures and VC4Africa.
Fourth round Applications are currently open for Application. The Previous editions had ZeroWaste Technologies, a company that develops autonomous waste management solutions, receiving €5,000 in the process. Tripdizer and Perligos (the second and third placed startups) got €3,000 and €2,000 respectively.
Unfortunately, the Accelerator program is only open for Egyptian startups that are less than 3 years old and haven’t received more than 100,000 EGP funding. Applications will close on April 1, 2017, with the program proper commencing on March 19 and ending on November 30, 2017.
This is set to have more than 30 startups qualify for Ignition (Bootcamp stage) where they’ll receive mentorship and training. 15 startups will then proceed to Plasma stage, receiving full program benefits such as mentorship, facilities, company registration and more.
