Kenya’s court suspends Big Man phone tapping agenda

Late last week the Communications Authority of Kenya announced that it will start tapping on consumer devices. This Communication created an angry crowd on social medias others claiming they already did a while back.

The courts earlier today suspended the hearings and the installations of the spy devices on the subscriber servers, The Millimani courts suspended due to a case filed by activist Okiya Omtatah.

The case is to be heard again on march 6th, this kind of acts are not in contrary with the privacy law and any citizen is not to be deprived privacy without reference to article 24 of the constitution:Limitation of rights and fundamental freedoms.
