Geeks on a Plane : Airborne pitching Startup Opportunity
If you heard of the #UberPitch this challenge is similar in terms of the concept of how one gets a chance to pitch a startup idea, the only thing different is the idea is being pitched while on an airplane.
At the end of March 2017, 500 Startups will end their Geeks On A Plane Africa tour in Cape Town and would love to spend time with 10 local start-ups. These startups will receive mentorship and feedback from the 500 Startups team, angel investors and other key players who are part of the tour.
They are looking for 10 passionate entrepreneurs who are building scalable tech-enabled startups for local and eventually international markets. This is not for seed and idea stage businesses. We are looking for start-ups that have launched and are generating initial revenue.
Applications close at 5 pm on Wednesday, 22 March, successful Applicants will be notified through their emails by Monday, 27 March.
Pitching will take place on the afternoon of Friday, 31 March.
