GAME OF CODES : KONGA’S UNIVERSITY DEVELOPER CHALLENGE
Another coding challenge dubbed “GAME OF CODES” has been launched by Nigeria’s largest online shopping mall Konga ,which aims to target the university and tertiary students with coding ability and outstanding team work abilities.
The challenge is a great opportunity for the students as it promotes team work which is very essential in terms of coding and building systems. Interested applicants are to apply in groups(minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5).
The successful candidates will be invited to Lagos to showcase a project they have completed successfully between the 7th & 8th April 2017 but the deadline for registration is Friday, 3rd March 2017. The winner will have a chance to work with Nigeria’s top software engineers and also walk away with the grand prize of ₦500,000 while the runners up will receive various tech goodies and prizes.
This should be a chance for other startups to develop this culture due to the growth in number of individuals joining technological hubs in Africa is quite rapid.
