Apply as a speaker towards AWIT Kenya 2017.
Since we all want to apply to get the seeds and hear motivators talk to us! now the technology karma has decided to hit back its time to apply as people who motivate, this is a great one, rarely do we see this kind of applications being done calling for speakers.
AWIT ( African Women in Tech ) holds conferences annually to educate and support the women tech culture in Africa, Last year’s event was held in Ghana Accra having in attendance 200 women and above for the two days ( December 15th- 17th 2016 ), this consisting of 60% developers and 40% of the participants having no technical background, That’s some real thirst to learn and embrace the technology world our female counterparts have.
Having in attendance were students, entrepreneurs and company executives. Sponsorship panels included, Uber, Google, Cellulant just to mention a few. The conference covered interesting topics:
- How to Code and Exploring Career Opportunities in STEM.
- The Do’s and Don’t of Pitching.
Apparently, this is something fond of AWIT, cultivating both the speaker and the hearers, for also in 2016 it had the same speaker talent search.
