Teenagers in Nigeria invited to apply for the entrepreneurship fellowship

Nigerian teenagers have been invited to apply for a fellowship offered by Royal Foundation International, a 12 week course aimed at assisting young people in building successful businesses.

Launched in 2013, Royal Foundation International (RFI) aims to reduce unemployment and poverty in West Africa by promoting individual effectiveness and wealth creation.

It has previously hosted business and leadership summits, as well as run package fellowship programmes, internships, bootcamps, and educational support services for young people to equip them with leadership and entrepreneurship skills.

Its latest initiative is the Teens Enterprise Development Fellowship (TED-F), an intensive 12-week entrepreneurship fellowship for 50 teenagers resident in Abeokuta and Ibadan.

The programme curriculum covers sales techniques, business plans, team building, personal management, among other things, and will be delivered by leading entrepreneurs and personnel from the likes of the CBN-Enterprise Development Centre, Ibadan Business School, Lagos Business School, Fate Foundation, LEAP Africa, and Bank of Industry.

Applications for first TED-F cohort are open here until January 20, with applicants to be informed whether or not they have been accepted onto the programme by January 31. The fellowship is scheduled to commence next month.
