Okay such a weird way to start but that’s what got us jamming today morning, Uber is an app that allows you to hail and pay for a ride from your phone. Its lack of licensing has made it a subject of controversy over the years, but it remains a popular form of transportation.
Uber has faced a lot of challenges ever since its launch both from home to away, but they always say It’s always the first in the game no matter how hard you try to hit. Uber came in Africa then wham! bam! other taxi-hailing platforms rose, feuds between normal taxi drivers and the uber drivers.
So Yesterday morning uber gave a report on an update in Pricing for the Kenyan Market, for the past six years uber has gained trust in over 450 cities, that’s a good number of cities let alone clients.
Quoting Uber Kenya ” we have seen that pricing is all about achieving the right balance … ultimately, prices are designed to encourage more riders on the road, to help increase trips for drivers, but equally, you want to make sure the basic economics of drivers are sustainable. ”
Uber has had it so fluent in Kenya until the Drivers knew something is not right about this system, yes there is always something wrong everywhere, the last couple of weeks uber has had it hard in Kenya, with strikes in Nairobi’s Different Areas.
