Seedstars announces the startups which will pitch at the Jo’burg event

Seedstars World is a Switzerland-based startup competition that takes place in emerging markets that runs 65+ local competitions where we identify the best seed-stage startups, give them pitch training and award the winners with an opportunity to compete in the Seedstars Summit where one of them will be crowned Seedstars World Global Winner.

The recently opened applications for South Africa during the tour  Jo’burg and Capetown. The Johannesburg event that is set on June 8th, has the startups set to pitch at the event already selected. The 12 startups selected to participate at the Seedstars World pitching event include digital investment tool Arcus Capital, piloting platform BeaconWorx, credit scoring startup CommuScore, smart transport marketplace Empty Trips, e-health startup Muzi Tech, and business administration platform Ploiter, smart glove Powershare, big data startup Simplus Innovation, wireless power startup WiPo, invest-tech startup Easy Equities, inventory financing platform Invoiceworx, and legal e-commerce site Lenoma Legal.

The overall winner will take part in the global final in Switzerland next year, giving it the opportunity to pitch for up to US$500,000 in equity investment.
