Unleash an organisation that aims to build the world’s leading lab platform for innovative, implementable and scalable solutions to the sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Unleash is on the hunt for top talents in different countries of the world, with a mission of accelerating disruptive ideas by engaging the young talents in problem-solving and co-creative activities.
#UNLEASHLAB2017 a 9-day event is set to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark in August. Unleash will have 1000 talents selected for 2017 edition, having already a couple already selected.
Applications deadlines will be by may 1st so it’s still early for applications. This year will tackle 7 themes with a lot of insight about the SDG:
- Water
- Food
- Energy
- Sustainable Consumption and Production
- Education and ICT
- Urban sustainability
- Health
The applicants are set to come up with solutions that cater and solve problems in each of the categories above. The event will run from 13th to 21st August. The Event days are in split in that 13th-14th is the kickoff with some interactive activities and town tour, 15th-18th the innovation challenge which is to take place at Folk High Schools and at the end of this rapid-fire innovation process, each team of Talents have a draft SDG solution, implementation plan, and presentation – getting them ready for the final stage in Aarhus. 19th-21st is set for the award show and culmination.
