LaunchLab’s Water and Waste Management Challenge
The Nedbank Stellenbosch University LaunchLab is a startup incubator based in South Africa whose main goal and focus is to build African Entrepreneurs in a thriving ecosystem equipping them with necessary coaching and mentorship programs.
The LaunchLabs mission and vision is getting startups and entrepreneurs on the fast track to building their businesses by providing office space, facilities and incubation programs, along with expert advice, mentorship and access to funding across a network of univerity campuses in Africa because Africa has the talent and the drive to bring economic growth and social change to our continent. Sometimes you just need a launch pad.
They have recently launched one of their innovation challenges dubbed “Water and Waste Management Challenge” to help The Western Cape manage waste and water better with the increasing demand of businesses addressing this water crisis and the migration to the Western Cape which is on the steady and fast rise.
It will be running from March to June 2017 and main aim is to find solutions to this local, national and international crisis as well as improve living conditions for the affected community.
