We announced earlier that Digitize Africa was set for Durban, and now the time has closed in.
Digitize Africa which is set to happen from 18th to 20th April has announced their keynote speakers earlier today. Some of the high profile speakers you shouldn’t miss their talks are South Africa minister of Home affairs ( Prof. Hlengiwe Mkhize), Minister of Telecommunications and Postal services ( Dr. Siyabonga Cwele), Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Postal service ( Ms. Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams), the Premier of Kwazulu-Natal ( Mr. Willies Mchunu), KZN MEC of Economic Development and Tourism ( Mr. Sihle Zikalala) and MEC of Education in Guateng ( Mr. Panyaza Lesufi), you can read the whole Speaker list Here.

On Other Digitize Africa news: the winners of the Digitize Africa Startup Showcase 2017 Competition have been announced.
- Wezart – an e-commerce platform for African Fashion and Art suppliers and sellers to trade.
- Open Data Durban – a non-profit civic technology lab that implements open data, open government and civic technology for use in social change and social justice for all citizens in Durban.
- Spazapp – a free android application that gives spaza shop owners the ability to order directly from big brands and suppliers.
