GrowthAfrica accepting applications for its acceleration programme in Kenya and Uganda
Leading African impact startup accelerator and business market and consulting company, GrowthAfrica has opened applications for its 2017 acceleration programme in Kenya and Uganda.
The programme seeks ambitious, committed and innovative entrepreneurs with the aim of building them into formidable entrepreneurs, scaling their startups and make them investment ready.
The programme comprises a 5-day boot camp, and six 3 days workshops where the participants are equipped with tools to diagnose their businesses and devise strategies to optimize them.
Each workshop, which will hold on Wednesday to Friday every 4 weeks, will be followed by one-on-one sessions with mentors, growth catalysts, financial modellers and sages to help implement new strategies and innovations for their businesses.
“Post revenue businesses are exciting for us to work with as they are the engine of growth in Africa. We work very closely with them to identify gaps that are preventing them from growing at the scale that they should. Together with our team, we work collaboratively with these ventures to address these gaps, doubling their revenues and tripling their profits,” said Johnni Kjelsgaard, Founder and CEO of GrowthAfrica.
24 startups (12 from each country) will be selected to take part in the 6 months programme, which will commence in June 2017.
The programme is open to startups in the following sectors: Agribusiness; Education; IT/mobile solutions; Fintech, Renewable energy; Construction and affordable housing; Water & sanitation; Health; and Manufacturing/processing.
