Google has partnered with Pluralsight and Andela to offer 30,000 scholarship opportunities and 1,000 grants. This scholarships and grants are aimed to certify African techies on Mobile Web, Associate Cloud Engineer and Google Associate Android. The scholarships and grant opportunities are part of the Grow with Google initiative
The main aim of the Google Africa Certifications Scholarships is to help the company in honoring its pledge to support African startups and developers, by providing extensive digital skills training, education and economic opportunities.
Last year Google through Udacity (one of its partners in the Google Africa Certifications Scholarships program) offered 15,000 single course scholarships and 500 nano-degrees
