Fincluders Startup Challenge giving African Fintech Startups a chance to win $15,000
The Fincluders Startup Challenge is looking for innovative Fintech talents and entrepreneurs who are championing for inclusive and fair finance for all. 15 finalists will be selected to travel to Amman, Jordan to participate in a mentoring day on May 3 and the pitching competition on May 4 in front of an audience of investors, financial institutions, regulators and development finance specialists. All the pitches will be assessed by a high level jury with cash prizes of up to $15,000 up for grabs.
The challenge was initiated by the Technical Assistance Facility of the SANAD Fund for MSE, with the goal of promoting financial inclusion through Fintech in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. And who better to partner with than Oasis500, one of the key actors in the tech space. Together we combine expertise, networks and resources from the financial, development and tech arenas to bring you the first Fintech for financial inclusion competition for the MENA region.
Since its inception, SANAD and its technical assistance facility have helped spread financial inclusion in MENA through investments totalling almost $300 million and a wide-ranging program of training seminars and workshops for local financial institutions and businesses.
