Applications open for Mandela Rhodes Scholarship class of 2018

Ever since it was founded, the Mandela Rhodes Foundation has been able to offer scholarships to thousands of leaders in Africa since its first class in 2005.

Now the class of 2018 is open for applications after having a 52 enrolled in the class of this year. Applications are open starting 10th of march upto 18th April  of 2017.  Interested  scolarship Applicants are required to apply online via Embark application system .

After the applications phase is complete you are set to wait for four more phases to know the complete list of chosen applicants.

Phase 1 : Applications reviewed by South African tertiary institutions and the Mandela Rhodes Foundation. By end June 2017, all applicants to be informed by tertiary institutions and the MRF  whether or not their application is through to the next stage.

Phase 2 : Reviews by the MRF. By the end of July 2017, remaining applicants to be informed by the MRF  whether or not their application is through to the next stage.

phase 3: Reviews by the MRF. By end of September 2017, remaining applicants to be informed by the MRF whether or not their application is through to the next stage.

Final Phase : Panel interviews with Selection Committees in October. By end of November 2017, panel interviewed applicants to be informed by the MRF whether or not they have been selected as Mandela Rhodes Scholars.
