Application still open for World BlockChain Summit Nairobi

The World Blockchain Summit is coming to Nairobi on the 22-23 March 2018,  and the BT ( Blockchain Technology ) is picking a great momentum in Kenyan scene, all that needs to be done is set up the next platform for implementation into different sectors of the ecosystem.

Trescon’s main Aim of the summit is to address how Kenya can benefit from BT ( Blockchain Technology ) and also explore many different applications of the technology which will prove beneficial to the Kenyan Economy.  The Summit will also be accompanied by the startup pitch competition: 

The event is packed with great speakers from around the World and high profile speakers in Nairobi, Some of the key speakers include Fernando Wangila, Deputy Director of the National Transport and Safety Authority; Kasirim Nwuke, Chief of New Technologies and Innovation at the United Nations Economic Commissions for Africa; Eric Mwangi, Venture Partner at Blockchain Global; Jack Shaw Executive Director at the Blockchain Council of America; Caterina Ferrara, Founder of Blockchain Ladies and Danielle De Massi, Marketing and Communications Expert at The Interactions Lab PTY LTD among others.

If you have and are Interested in Blockchain, then this is the definite place to be, any startup founder or startup that has a million-dollar Blockchain Idea is already welcomed to perform the pitch ritual. The Pitch is still open for applications until 8th March. Then the 20 shortlisted startups will be announced on March 12th, 2018, the shortlisted startups will take part in the regional finale at the conference held in Nairobi.

The winning startup will get a chance to compete alongside the other 30 startups for a grand prize of US$ 1,000,000 at the Startup World Cup in May 11, 2018, in San Francisco.
