Rockstart, a startup accelerator popularly called ‘The Global Startup Machine’, is inviting African digital health startups to take part in its Digital Health Accelerator.
The accelerator program provide startups with the necessary tools, network and guidance needed to grow.
The program helps founders focus their product design, market fit and business model and provides direct access to patients, professionals and other stakeholders.
After the application period, 10 startups will be selected to take part in the program. They will receive €20,000 direct cash investment, and €75,000 in services and access to €565,000 worth of deals in exchange for 8% equity.
The accelerator program will run for 180 days in the heart of Health Valley in the Novio Tech Campus in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Interested startups across Africa should apply by August 21, 2016.
Described as Europe’s best connected Digital Health Accelerator, 68 digital health startups have been accelerated through the program since 2012.
These startups are comprised of 30 nationalities, have created more than 500 jobs, and 78% have received follow-on funding of more than €33million.
