Africa Unicorn : Agenda for the Startup Battlefield Africa Announced
As October 11th is nearing, African Startups in the Sub-Saharan region are yet to witness and take part in TechCrunch’s very first Startup Battlefield in Nairobi. The pitch-off competition will feature startups from all over Africa in three categories: Productivity and Utility, Social Good, and Gaming and Entertainment. Top notch investors and founders, as well as TechCrunch editors, will serve as judges to pick the winners in each category as well as an overall winner – the best early-stage startup in sub-Saharan Africa. We’ll also have a great line-up speakers and networking opportunities to round out the day.
Applications for the tickets are free and due to a limited seating, the earlier you apply the better, location still not communicated but the parties taking part will be emailed a few days before the event, while the names of the startups still remain unmentioned till 11th on the stage, we have the agenda and the speakers and judges mentioned early, with Jumia and Safaricom CEOs, Showmax and EchoVC heads top Battlefield Africa lineup:
