The 2017 applications for the Adansonia Accelerator Programme are open, Adansonia is a platform that trains African entrepreneur on how to build and manage businesses successfully.
Adansonia has supported some of the biggest names in Africa such as iHub, Impact Hub, VC4A, among others, the is set to run both online and offline of which the entrepreneurs on successful registration and selection ( which ends April 30), they will take part in a 6-week online course on entrepreneurship, where they will learn the necessities of business building and pitching to investor for funds.
An opportunity to pitch to local and international investors looking to invest in African startups and SMEs comes immediately after this phase. The programme also has partnered with SpeedCapital, Nest, GAIN, and VillageCapital. The most innovative and engaged participants will also have the opportunity to travel to Italy for a brief business course at Bocconi University.
As of every Accelerator program, you are required to have the following requirements on the table:
- Participants must be based in Africa.
- Participants must have a business or a business idea
- Participants must possess an internet-connected device. Must be able to view videos, and run an application on Android, iOS, Linus, Windows, and Mac.
