South African recruitment startup Giraffe was named the overall winner of the event during the last year’s summit, which gathered 800 guests from more than 55 countries and saw 53 startup startups take part.
This year’s summit will have 70 startups from 65 countries attend, alongside European entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, corporate executives, business angels, government officials, journalists and startup enthusiasts.
Tanzanian micro-health insurance startup Jamii, Rwandan female health focused e-commerce platform Kasha, and Egypt’s social ride-sharing platform are the three startups selected from Africa
