Jumo Kenya heads to Mobile World Congress  barcelona

It’s only remaining 6-days  to MWC( Mobile World Congress): the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, organized by the GSMA and held in the Mobile World Capital Barcelona, 27 February – 2 March 2017.This is one of the events  techies should never miss if you have the potential to or you get lucky and speaking of Lucky, Nairobian based  Software developers from JUMO [ Okal Otieno, Obat Okello and David ngugi] got a chance to collect a lucky golden egg after being invited to the largest mobile gathering MWC! after winning a hackathon held in Dar es salaam ( Money API Hackathon at the GSMA’s 360 series. )

said JUMO’s Director of Engineering Sam Kitonyi.
JUMO impressed the judges by their API which seamlessly harmonized payments which apparently happens to be an issue affecting most payment systems and checkouts. MWC is one of the greatest holds of GSMA and facebooks CEO Marks happens to be a speaker too, apart from Zucks, a set of International speakers are to speak during the congress: GSMA Chairman and Founder and Chairman of BHARTI ENTERPRISES (Airtel), Sunil Bharti Mittal and Netflix Founder and CEO, Reed Hastings.
JUMO is set to return to Nairobi for the Nairobi Tech week  set to be held on the 22-25th of march.
